The body has a natural ability to heal itself.
However, due to various pathogenic factors accumulating over time, the body can become bound up leading to various symptoms and disease. It is sometimes difficult for the body to untangle itself from this state.
Sakai Acupuncture clinic uses traditional acupuncture and moxibustion therapy based on classical oriental medicine to help you unwind resulting in relief of symptoms and recovery from disease.

About acupuncture needles

Generally, fine acupuncture needles (about the thickness of a hair) are used. The main technique is to use very shallow needling. Depending on the patient's symptoms and condition, thicker needles may be used with deeper insertion.
Disposable needles are used.

About moxibustion

Various types of moxibustion are performed both indirectly and directly on the skin. In both cases, moxibustion is gentle and effective and does not stress the skin.

About Dao-Yin

In traditional Oriental medicine, manual therapies such as massage are called Dao-Yin. In this case, it is not intended to be comforting, but therapeutic. At Sakai Acupuncture, this Dao-Yin is incorporated into acupuncture treatment.

By applying appropriate pressure and techniques to the right places as required, the effects of acupuncture and moxibustion can be enhanced.
